The most recent project, was the design, development, implementation and maintenance of a database application for the servicing department of an SME holding the sole distribution rights for AVISION scanners for the whole of Africa.
This package has been in daily use since early 2015 and has helped to control the servicing and repairs from an
inventory of 20,000 scanners.
This system was designed to integrate seamlessly with an existing third party, web based, ticketing system, allowing
clients to monitor the progress of the service. Internally, the 'Spares Inventory', associated technical drawings
'Job Cards' and historical data associated to previous servicing, are presented on demand.
Ultimately, this has resulted in a more efficient and accurate, monitoring and reporting, solution.
Prior to this, we developed, designed and maintained financial packages with complex interest calculations
which were successfully audited by two major international auditing firms ( PwC Price Waterhouse Cooper &
Deloitte Touche ) for the duration of the 20 year life cycle of the projects.
